2/6 - Online Draft Simulator Forum

According to our site visitation stats, the ODS isn't for everyone. However on a given day there are several hundred to over 1000 people who visit and tinker with the online draft simulator.

In truth the ODS is still effectively a Beta product that continues to be refined. There are several features of our Excel-VBA "offline" simulator that have yet to converted over to the online product for various reasons. We are continuously being peppered with ODS questions and comments, but until now have not had a means of communicating responses to all the users.

In order to better communicate with ODS fans, an Online Draft Simulator Forum has been set up on the Drafttek Message Board. ODS users are more than encouraged to become board members - we'd love to hear your input.

(Edit: 2/8) ODS refresh has IND and NO switching spots in the draft order

2/5- Big Board Update
The Senior Bowl enhanced the draft prospects for several players. Corners are big movers on our Pre-Super Bowl Big Board: Devin McCourty continues his dramatic rise from obscurity to the 1st round. The Rutgers Scarlet Knight checks in at #25 overall. Boise State's Kyle Wilson moves up hard (+54) to 45th overall. We've been getting an earfull from Boise St fans for several weeks concerning Wilson's BB standing - looks like analysts outside the Gem State are beginning to notice.

ODS users! - The latest BB has been loaded up to the Online Simulator on Feb 5th

Here's the short list of notable movers on our latest Board:
  • Iowa OT Bryan Bulaga +10 to #10
  • Ole Miss WR Dexter McCluster +31 to #48
  • Mass OL Vladimir Ducasse +21 to #50
  • TCU LB Daryl Washington +32 to #54
  • Boston College OT Matt Tennant +21 to #64

2010 Consensus Mock Draft
2/3 - 2010 Consensus Mock Draft #15: 7-rounds!

The Senior Bowl will move certain players up the Big Board, and drop others. Unfortunately our post-Sr Bowl board will not be available for a few more days, so the current Consensus Mock Draft is still driven by last weeks player rankings.

Purchase NFL Football Tickets! Visit this handy resource for affordable football tickets this year. Browse Vikings tickets as well as Patriots tickets and view each stadium's interactive seating chart to find premium seating.

Drafttek is the premier independent NFL draft website on the net. Most mock drafts out there are generated by a sole individual purporting to understand the needs of all 32 NFL teams. At Drafttek, each NFL team has an analyst who assigns positional needs, then a proprietary computer model is employed to generate a 7-round Consensus Mock Draft.

Not buying that a mock draft can be software generated? The Online Draft Simulator is a simplified web version of our draft simulation engine. Have a seat and let the ODS crank out customized mock drafts based on your input.
