3/22 - Online Draft Simulator CMD#22 Pre-Load
We downloaded the most recent version of the Firefox browser (v3.6) and over the past few days have uncovered several compatibility issues. One of them involving the Online Draft Simulator: the Grab and Lockout lists are deactiveated, as Firefox 3.6 does not appear to render drop-down boxes. Will look to get a fix in place on that as soon as possible, but in the meantime ODS users should steer toward the IE, Safari or Chrome browsers.
As the Drafttek staff continues to prep CMD#22 for rollout on Tuesday morning, ODS user can get a preview of those results a day early:

Plenty of action since the release of CMD#21-A on Monday morning. Building in the following trades and free agent moves has revamped our mock draft beginning early in the first round:

- Chargers lose QB Charlie Whitehurst - flip 2nd round pick with SEA. SD loses #60, gets #40
- Seahawks trades for Charlie Whitehurst - lose pick #40 gets #60
- Cardinals sign Derek Anderson - QB priority from P3 to P5
- Chiefs sign Ryan Lilja - OG need change
- Dolphins sign Richie Incognito - OG priority P4 to P6

The Drafttek computer model has a knack for annually identifying emerging trends in each years draft. This years main trend involves the overall strength of the 2010 draft class. Not a week goes by and we've got a handful of new prospects zooming in from the outer limits to claim a top-50 ranking. The phrase "There's always room at the top" definitely applies to the NFL, however it does not apply to the NFL draft. Many can be proclaimed "First round talent", however only 32 guys can claim the title of "First round draft pick". Check out this weeks CMD#21 - it's the 2nd round that's full of surprises and WTF's!!
